The Eola-Amity Hills has quietly become one of Oregon’s most celebrated appellations. Along the eastern flank of these red volcanic hills, Evening Land’s Seven Springs Estate prominently sits at its center, positioned mid-slope directly facing one of Oregon’s most beloved monuments, Mount Hood.
The Chardonnay in this cuvée is from 100% estate grown grapes, expertly grown by their vineyard manager, Netanya Welch. Under the careful direction of their winemaker, John Faulkner, the juice is fermented in a combination of barriques and puncheons, left sur lie for 11 months, and finished in stainless steel for 5 months before bottling.
