Includes fruit from Carneros and Stags Leap District. The cool climate and clay loam soils of Carneros create an elegant core, while our estate vineyard in Stags Leap District adds complexity and richness. Lots underwent primary fermentation in the barrel, were inoculated and tracked through malolactic fermentation, and then stopped when they reached the ideal balance of richness and acidity. The wine aged sur lie for 6 months in French oak (20% new) to add texture and a gentle toastiness. 13.5% ABV
