• Stravecchia grappa produced at Caffo Distilleria Friulia in Udine, Italy • Distilled in a bain-marie alembic pot still wherein the grape skins are steam distilled • Aged in oak casks for a minimum of 18 months • An inviting nose of vanilla cream, quince, toasted barley, and cinnamon prime the palate for a warming embrace of baked apple, vanilla, and cherry, with freshly baked sourdough bread and dried straw lingering on the finish • 45% ABV In accordance with the G.I. for grappa, this Stravecchia, or Riserva, is produced in Italy using 100% Italian-grown grape pomace and is barrel aged at least 18 months.
