230V Exposed Tube Water-Cooled Motor

This 230V water-cooled pump motor (model C042204) is built for volumetric pump applications and uses externally exposed cooling tubing, unlike the version with internal cooling tubes. It has 2 x 3/8" male BSP fittings and 1 x 1/4" male BSP fitting; on some models the 1/4" fitting is capped off, and one-group machines use a 1/4" female x 1/8" male reducer to connect to the old black 1/8" hose (#4615456, formerly #15456).

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Model C042204
  • 230V, 220/240V 50/60Hz, 0.33 kW, 1.6/1.4A
  • Requires a 7 µF capacitor (not included)
  • For volumetric pump use
  • 2 x 3/8" male BSP + 1 x 1/4" male BSP fittings

COMPATIBILITY

  • Fits: machines using this water-cooled volumetric pump motor configuration
  • Replaces: OEM 230V exposed-tube water-cooled motor, model C042204
  • Works with: volumetric pump assemblies; a 7 µF capacitor is required but not included

INSTALLATION

Technician install required - correct capacitor sizing and fitting configuration are critical to proper pump function.

Electrical items, special-order parts, and solenoids are final sale; see our return policy or contact info@espressoparts.com with questions.

PRO TIPS

  • Don't forget the capacitor - this motor requires a 7 µF capacitor that is not included, and running it with the wrong capacitor value will cause poor starting torque or premature motor failure.
  • If your machine uses the old black 1/8" hose (#4615456), you'll need the 1/4" female x 1/8" male reducer fitting to connect this motor on one-group setups.
