The 2020 Chateau Fontarabie is a 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon blend from 15 hectares of south-facing vines overlooking the Gironde Estuary. The estate practices sustainable farming and holds the HVE3 certification.
The wine is aged for 10 months in French oak barrels from five different coopers, offering layered complexity. It reveals ripe cassis, fresh blueberry, violet, spice, and hints of vanilla, toasted hazelnut, and cocoa on the palate.
Serve at 16–18°C with roasts, grilled meats, or hearty stews.
